Payment disclaimer

How payments work — and do not work — on Yonsi.

Last updated 15 June 2025

Yonsi helps employers and workers find each other, show interest, and chat. We are not a payment company. This page explains what that means for you.

1. Yonsi does not process job payments

Yonsi does not collect, hold, transfer, or guarantee payments for work arranged through the platform. We do not provide:

  • Payment gateways for wages or task fees
  • Escrow or wallet services for job transactions
  • Invoicing, payroll, or tax withholding
  • Refund processing for work disputes between users

Any money exchanged for work is handled directly between the employer and worker (for example cash, UPI, bank transfer, or any method they agree on outside or alongside Yonsi).

2. Pay shown on job posts

Employers may enter a pay per worker or budget range when posting a job. This is displayed to help workers decide whether to show interest. It is an indication only — not a contract enforced by Yonsi.

Final pay, timing, advances, materials, travel costs, and bonuses are for users to negotiate in chat or off-platform. Yonsi is not responsible if actual pay differs from what was posted.

3. Your responsibility

Before starting work or paying someone, users should:

  • Agree on scope, schedule, location, and total payment
  • Confirm payment method and timing (before, during, or after work)
  • Keep records of agreements and receipts where appropriate
  • Comply with applicable tax, GST, TDS, and labour laws

Workers and employers are independent parties. Yonsi is not the employer of workers listed on the platform.

4. Payment disputes

If there is a disagreement about non-payment, partial payment, or quality of work, that dispute is between the users involved. Yonsi does not arbitrate wage disputes or issue refunds for work performed.

You may report fraud or scams that violate our community guidelines or terms of use. We may take action on accounts, but that does not replace your legal remedies against the other party.

5. Avoid advance-fee scams

Be cautious if anyone asks you to:

  • Pay a "registration", "security deposit", or "training fee" before work starts
  • Send money to unlock a job or to receive equipment
  • Share OTPs, PINs, or full bank login details

Legitimate hiring on Yonsi should focus on the task and agreed pay — not unexplained upfront charges to the platform or to strangers.

7. No financial guarantee

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yonsi disclaims all liability for lost wages, unpaid invoices, fraudulent transfers, or financial loss arising from arrangements between users. See the limitation of liability in our terms of use.
